Devil on Earth

The Devil emerged,
From his crypt down below,
Ready to wreck havoc,
On the world we all know.

Armed with a knife,
He mustn't have known,
We're better defended,
Than last time he come.

He didn't have chance,
To go back to hell,
He came to the wrong place,
The Devil he fell.

With a thud to the floor,
He collapsed in a heap,
But after hours in hospital,
The machine's final beep.....

Pronounced dead by the doctor,
And confirmed on Gods part,
When his youngest son Jesus,
Drove a stake through his heart.

The Devil alas,
Was not anymore,
Burried 6ft below,
The cemetry floor.
Hung by the light of the moon

He stood on the chair, as he tightened the rope,
In this life he called hell, he could no longer cope,
He needed released, from his constant pain,
If it lasted much longer, they'd know he's not sane.

The rope was tight now, around the boys neck,
His life before his eyes, a terrible wreck,
He kicked back the chair, and fell towards the floor,
The rope pulling tighter, soon he would be no more.

The constant choking of the rope, would be over soon,
Swinging there, by the light of the moon,
Motionless now, as he hung there untouched,
This is what happens to a life, with no pure love.
